The terms governing use of the Compute Terms Observatory.

1. What this site is
The Compute Terms Observatory publishes AI-generated summaries of the publicly posted contract terms of cloud infrastructure and AI model providers, under a documented methodology, with every value linked to its source. It is a reference publication.
It is not legal advice. Nothing on this site creates an attorney-client relationship. The summaries describe what documents say as of the capture date shown; they do not advise what any reader should do, and they may contain errors. Before relying on any value for a decision, read the linked source document yourself. That is what the links are for.
2. Accuracy, reliance, and error reports
Summaries are generated by AI and reviewed under the processes described on the methodology page. Verification statuses, confidence levels, and capture dates are published so you can judge each value's evidentiary weight yourself. The site is provided as is, and we make no warranty that any value is complete, current, or correct. Providers change their terms; captures lag reality; extraction can be wrong.
If you find an error, we want to know. Data corrections are handled publicly through the error-report link, which opens an issue in our public repository so the claimed error and its resolution are part of the visible record. For anything sensitive, write to contact@termsobservatory.org instead.
3. Intellectual property
The Compute Terms Observatory name, the .O logo and wordmark, and the site's visual identity are protected and may not be used to imply affiliation or endorsement. The site's source code is available under the license stated in the public repository.
Captured provider documents remain the property of their respective publishers. They are reproduced here for documentation and verification purposes, so readers can independently check the Observatory's change reports and summaries. Providers who wish to discuss the presentation of their documents may contact contact@termsobservatory.org.
4. Using the Observatory's data
You are welcome to view, download, cite, and quote the Observatory's summaries, matrix values, exports, and findings, including for commercial and internal business purposes, provided you attribute the Compute Terms Observatory and do not remove provenance information (sources, capture dates, verification statuses) from what you reuse.
You may not republish the dataset in bulk or operate a service that substantially reproduces the Observatory's matrix, change feed, or archive, and you may not present the Observatory's data in a way that implies we endorsed your use of it or advised anyone based on it.

5. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Observatory and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this site or its data. This is a free reference publication that tells you, on every page, to verify against the primary source.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes take effect 30 days after they are posted, with the change and its date listed below. Changes are not retroactive. We do not treat your continued reading of a website as meaningful consent to anything, so we keep this page's history visible instead.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts located in California. There is no arbitration clause and no class action waiver.
