Acceptable Use Policy
Use of the Services is subject to this Acceptable Use Policy. Capitalized terms have the meaning stated in the applicable agreement between Customer and Crusoe. Customer agrees not to, and not to allow third parties, including End Users, to use the Services:
to violate, or encourage the violation of, the legal rights of others (for example, this may include allowing End Users to infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property rights of others in violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act);
to engage in, promote, or encourage illegal activity (for example, this may include child sexual exploitation, child abuse, terrorism or violence that can cause death, serious harm, or injury to individuals or groups of individuals);
for any unlawful, invasive, infringing, defamatory, or fraudulent purpose (for example, this may include Non-Consensual Explicit Imagery (NCEI), violating intellectual property rights of others, phishing, creating a pyramid scheme, or mirroring a website);
to harass, bully, intimidate, abuse, or defame any individual, or to promote or incite hatred or violence against individuals or groups on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender, gender identity, serious disease or disability, or immigration status, or to promote, encourage, or facilitate self-harm;
to distribute viruses, worms, Trojan horses, corrupted files, hoaxes, or other items of a destructive or deceptive nature;
to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, or impair the use of the Services, or the equipment used to provide the Services, by customers, authorized resellers, or other authorized users (for example, by probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system or network; breaching or circumventing authentication or security measures; or intercepting, monitoring, or falsifying data, traffic, or packet or email header information, in each case without authorization);
to alter, disable, interfere with, or circumvent any aspect of the Services, or the equipment used to provide the Services;
to use the Services to attack, place an undue burden on, or otherwise disrupt the integrity or performance of any third-party network, system, or infrastructure, or to operate abusive network infrastructure (for example, by operating open mail relays, open proxies, open recursive DNS resolvers, or Tor exit nodes; engaging in disruptive crawling or scraping; attempting to make unauthorized network connections to any user, host, or network; or evading or circumventing usage limits, quotas, or other access restrictions);
to generate, distribute, publish, or facilitate unsolicited mass email, promotions, advertisements, or other solicitations (“spam”);
to test or reverse-engineer the Services in order to find limitations or vulnerabilities, or to evade filtering capabilities, except as expressly permitted in the Agreement; or
to use the Services, or any interfaces provided with the Services, to access any other Crusoe product or service in a manner that violates the terms of service of such other Crusoe product or service.
Failure to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy may result in suspension or termination, or both, of the applicable Services pursuant to the Agreement. To report a suspected violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please use the
